Forming Fabric
Paper Machine Forming fabric includes:
Single-layer forming wire, Double layer forming wire, 2.5 layer
forming wire, SSB forming fabric, Cresent Former Forming Fabric.
The single-layer forming fabric is the simplest forming fabric.
They are woven in 4-shed, 5-shed, and8 -sheds for different
applications. According to their weaving shed, single-layer fabrics
could be used for the manufacture of kraft papers, tissue papers,
writing & printing papers, etc.
4-shed single layer forming fabric. Display excellent stretch,
drainage, and anti-wear property.
5-shed single layer forming fabric. Better stretch, drainage
features, and ideal for tissue machines.
8-shed single layer forming fabric. With enhanced retention,
excellent drainage, and easy to clean.

1.5 layer forming fabric is actually a 5-shed single layer fabric
that has been modified to have extra yarns which provide it the
same properties as that of a double layer one. The extra yarns
provide better sheet side smoothness as well as improved retention.
Thanks to its unique structure, it delivers very good drainage and
ease of cleaning.
1.5 Layer forming fabric is mainly used on the packing paper
machine with machine speed 50m-400m/min, which has high air
permeability as single layer forming fabric, and has a longer life
than single layer forming fabric.
2.5 layer forming fabrics are also known as support Shute
double-layer fabrics or double-layer extra designs.
It's a double-layer design with an extra Shute yarn added on the
forming side between the 2regular cross-direction yarns.
In order to further improve the characteristics of the double-layer
design forming fabric, we increased the weft density on the
sheet side during the weaving process. The result is better sheet
support that improves the wire mark, retention, and surface
properties of the paper. In addition, the number of wefts on the
machine side is reduced, thereby increasing the three-dimensional
space, thereby enhancing the drainage capacity.

Triple-layer also SSB forming fabrics have two independent
single-layer fabrics bound together by separated yarns.
On the forming side, the yarns have a small diameter to increase
the support index. On the Wearside, cross-direction yarns have
a large diameter to improve the fabric life. The wear side is made
with a coarse mesh to improve stability and wear resistance.
The paper side is made with very fine yarns on the surface to
optimize the sheet forming performance.
This modified design delivers enhanced stability in the
cross-machine direction thanks to its three-layer weft structure.
Furthermore, improved drainage is guaranteed because of its
increased three-dimensional space.

if the quantity is big, it will take about 20-30 working days.

A: The time is different differ the usage and factory. But we can

5. Q: Is the package strong enough for the long transportation?

By sea, we will pack every piece into a wooden/wood box.
By air, we will pack it in a strong water-proof bag.
