1, the origin of air spring

Not long after cars were invented, when comfort was very poor, inventors wanted to use this property of air to make air springs for cars. Messier, a Frenchman, designed the earliest automobile air springs in the 1920s, and in 1929 the Czechoslovakian TATRA automobile Company experimented with installing air springs on the rear axle of its T24 truck.
It was not until 1946, after the end of World War II, that the StoutStout Scarab, designed by American inventor William Bushnell, was equipped with an air spring designed and manufactured by Firestone. It was the world's first car with an all-air spring suspension.
