Type 301 ss is an austenitic stainless steel capable of attaining
high strengths and ductility by cold working. Type 301 Stainless
Steel is non-magnetic in the annealed condition, but becomes
magnetic through cold work. The high strength and corrosion
resistance of this grade of stainless steel makes it useful for a
variety of applications.
