Dual Axis Solar Slew Drive Description
Hangtuo's slewing drive has an IP66 degree of protection. If the
slewing drive is used in wet or dirty environments, a skeletal oil
seal mounted on the housing structure protects the interior of the
assembly from contamination. Because the performance and
reliability of the slewing drive depends to a large extent on the
internal stability. It is worth noting that high pressure water
guns cannot be used to clean the swing drive, as the pressurized
water will penetrate the seal and enter the inside of the swing
drive, which will greatly reduce the service life.
7 inch dual axis slew drive are perfect for situations which need
track towards the sun all the time from sunrise to sunset. It can
increase the energy production capacity. Typical applications
include dual axis solar trackers, it can also applied in satellite
and radar dishes, machines which need moving 360 degrees at both
directions.

Applications
1) Optimal inclination fixed solar tracking system
At low latitudes, the increase in electricity generation is minimal
due to the lower optimal inclination (as in 8°, almost no
increase); At high latitudes, the optimum inclination is large and
the amount of electricity generated is significantly higher (for
example, by about 25% at 50°)
2) Flat single axis solar tracking system
It track the change of incident angle within a day of the sun, and
its rate of increase in electricity generation at low latitudes is
significantly better than that of high latitudes. It is generally
believed that flat single axis tracking is more suitable for the
use of the latitudes less than 30 °.
3) Oblique single axis solar tracking system
It is more suitable for high latitudes.
4) dual axis tracking system
This approach is clearly the highest in the increase in electricity
generation due to the tracking of changes in the incident angle of
the sun within a day and within a year.
5) Fixed adjustable system
This type is based on the change of the angle of incidence within a
year of the sun to adjust the inclination of the bracket, thus
achieving an increase in power generation
