1. The tungsten content in heavy tungsten alloys ranges from 90%%~98%, which is the reason for its high density (16.5~19.00g/cc). Nickel, iron and / or copper are used as metal binder substrates to hold fragile tungsten particles together, making tungsten alloys ductile and easy to work. Ferronickel is the most commonly used additive, and its ratio is 7ni:3fe or 8ni:2fe (weight ratio).

Tungsten alloy pipe has the advantages of high density (60% higher than lead), good mechanical strength, low thermal expansion, good corrosion resistance, high radiation absorption capacity (higher than lead), simple economic cycle, high strength and high specific gravity.
