Millimeter waves have a wide range of applications in
communications, radar, remote sensing, astronomy and other fields.
At the same time that 5G construction is in full swing, with the
freeze of the R16 version, people are gradually focusing on the key
technologies in the next stage of 5G. Among them, including
millimeter wave technology, which is known as the killer of 5G.
Compared to the strain on allocating resources in the Sub-6 band,
mmWave can easily allocate bandwidth resources above 100MHz, even
up to 400MHz or 800MHz. Based on such abundant frequency bandwidth
resources, the wireless transmission speed of mmWave 5G can easily
exceed Sub-6G by several times.
As a professional radio equipment manufacturing and application
technology service provider, Luoguang Electronics has released a
series of SDR products to meet the various needs of Sub-6G. The
MWM39 is a newly developed module of Luo optoelectronics to meet
the needs of the millimeter wave field and can cover 37-40GHz. This
module can be used with or alone with USRP products.

The MWM39 can be controlled individually via a PC with a built-in
high-performance frequency source.

Software
The module communicates with the host computer using a serial port.
The software used by the host computer is written by Python, which
is simple to operate and easy to control the module. The host
computer software supports Windows and Linux systems.
