lower carbon content. Lower carbon means less chromium carbide
precipitation due to welding. The carbon content of this steel is
as low as 0.03%, thus reducing its susceptibility to intergranular
corrosion. This steel can be continuously exposed to temperatures
of about 1500°F without significant fouling.
It is suitable for a variety of applications such as automotive
headers, machine parts, screws, and food handling equipment. We
