Lead glass composition
The composition of lead glass is rmon-pbo-sio2 (B2O3).In the
formula, SiO2(B2O3), namely silicon oxide
(boron oxide), is called the network formation, and is the basic
unit constituting the glass network
structure.RmOn, which represents the metal oxides of alkali,
alkaline earth and rare earth metals, is a
network modification that makes the glass network structure change
and achieve the adjustment
characteristics.PbO, or lead oxide, is the characteristic component
that gives the glass its basic
properties.With the increase of PbO content, the density,
refractive index, dispersion, dielectric constant,
absorption coefficient of X ray and beta ray of glass and other
performance indexes increase.The index
values of hardness, high temperature viscosity, softening
temperature and chemical stability were
decreased.Causes the glass molding material sex to become long, the
colorant color is bright, the surface
luster increases, the knock sound is clear and crisp.
