Production introduction

Type CKL-B is a sprag clutch bearing, self contained,sealed and bearing supported. It mainly used in occasion of high overrunning speed and lower start speed. It needs greaseor oil when used.

It has same character and dimension as CKL-A.

One way bearing is a kind of bearing that can rotate freely in one direction and lock in the other direction. One way bearing is also called overrunning clutch, which is named according to different industries and functions. The metal shell of one-way bearing contains many rollers, needles or balls, and the shape of its rolling seat (hole) makes it roll only in one direction, but it will produce great resistance in the other direction (so-called "one-way")

Wedge design

The wedge type one-way overrunning clutch is generally composed of inner ring, outer ring, wedge group, wedge cage, strong spring and bearing. The wedge transmits force from one raceway to another by wedging between the inner and outer rings. The wedge has two diagonal diameters (i.e. the distance from one corner of the wedge to the other corner), one of which is larger than the other. Wedge action occurs when the inner and outer rings rotate relative to each other, forcing the wedge to have a larger vertical position on a larger cross section
