Tapered Roller Bearings
When the tapered roller bearing is designed, the three extension lines of the inner and outer raceway generatrix and the roller center line intersect at one point on the bearing center line. Therefore, the rollers achieve pure rolling on the raceway.
Tapered roller bearings are especially suitable for bearing radial loads and unidirectional axial loads and their combined loads. The larger the contact angle, the larger the axial load capacity.
