Supply Board
The monitor subsystems operate on a common 9 to 18 V power bus. Due
to the wide variety of voltages required by the different
subsystems, each subsystem converts power locally. This
architecture provides efficient and compact systems by reducing the
number of conversions required and optimizing the
PHiliphhilipysical size of each converter for specific
applications.
When operating on AC mains, the power bus voltage is 18V, which is
generated by an off-line switching power supply.
There is no power switch.
The line voltage range switch must be set to 115 V or 230 V (90 to
132 VAC or 190 to 264 VAC).

Replace power supply assemble
1. Remove the CPU and battery compartment assembly.
2. While supporting the power supply with one hand, remove the four
screws on the back of the device.
3. Remove the drive assembly.
4. Align the tabs on the power supply mounting bracket with the
slots on the back of the case and install the new components into
the device. Secure the assembly to the back box with new screws.
NOTE: When installing the thumb screws on the recorder, tighten
them with your fingers first. Then use a screwdriver to tighten the
screw an additional 1/4 turn.
5. Reassemble the patient monitor in reverse order.
