Introduction:

Casing/Volute liner of SG sand gravel pumps is also made of high chrome alloy A05 to handle roboust rock and stones. The impeller of sand gravel pumps is closed type with 3 vanes, of which the passage is very big, and so it can allow very big solids to pass by. Gravel pumps are more likely to be used for dredging, for instance, river dredging, pond dredging, ocean dredging etc.

The big order of slurry pump parts was placed to us by our Russian regular customer during February. There are the wet-end parts and rotor parts of the well-known double frame pump models like 3/2CC-AH, 8/6EE-AH and 10/8FF-AH. The rotor parts include bearing housing, shaft etc.. And split outer casings of standard heavey duty high friction slurry pumps and high pressure slurry pumps.

As is all known, the material of slurry pump wet-end(wear) parts is high chrome alloy A05. What we want to introduce is the pump outer casings. We do two alternatives: grey cast iron and ductile cast iron. Of course the ductile iron is more expensive than grey iron.
