Honeycomb Vent
In order to maintain the air flow inside the machine room, windows
need to be opened on the shielding
shell, but the waveguide window must be installed to meet the
response standard. The function of the
waveguide window is to ensure the air flow and prevent the leakage
of electromagnetic signal. The ventilation
guide window is the main channel for shielding indoor air to
exchange with the outside world, which can effectively
cut off the passage of electromagnetic wave.
Honeycomb Vent is a special but indispensable part of a MRI/ RF shielding room
and shieded cabinet. It is usually using for air pass. Its shielding range is ≤20GHz.
In common, we distinguish it from its material, thickness, cell
hole size, outer size,
with or without frame.

(1) The shielding ventilation window is in the form of cut-off
waveguide, and its insertion attenuation should be
consistent with that of the shielding chamber. The waveguide window
is composed of many waveguides, and
the cross section of the small waveguide is hexagonal;
(2) The waveguide piece is made up of a new low temperature brazing
process.
