Analyze the factors that cause the flow sensor test failure

1.Insufficient air source pressure does not meet the test standard;

2.The outgoing call box is faulty;

3.The gas module is faulty.

4.Internal circuit boards of the ventilator, such as PC1772 and PC1771, are faulty.

Check the air source pressure is normal, eliminate the problem of air source. Further check the outgoing box. After replacement, the power-on self-test passes, indicating that the fault is in the outgoing box.

Siemens ventilator is an integrated exhalation box, which allows high-temperature disinfection. However, high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization equipment in domestic hospitals cannot meet the sterilization level of exhalation box, so the high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization is basically abandoned in China.

If the disinfection method is not correct, it will often cause the failure of the exhalation box. The key points of cleaning and disinfecting exhalation box are as follows: First, do a good job of cleaning and disinfecting the exhalation box before sending it to the supply room for sterilization. The tubes of the exhalation box will be stained with the patient's body fluid, so the tubes of the exhalation box can be washed clean by cleaning and disinfection. The common method is to soak the tubes with diluted hypochlorous acid disinfectant, and then send them to the supply room for sterilization after cleaning and disinfection.

Secondly, after the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization work in the supply room, the exhalation box must be dried. Only the use of the dried exhalation box can ensure safety, otherwise it is very easy to damage the exhalation box.
