Background: Water permeability of garden fleece.
The water permeability depends on both the floor and the fleece.

Base: High density soil, clay soil, stone soil have very poor water permeability. Even a highly water-permeable fleece cannot conduct water faster on such floors. Check the soil before processing. If possible, loosen compressed floors.

Fleece: Normal thermal bonded spun fleece has a slow water permeability depending on the thickness of the material. With thinner material with a thickness of 50 g/m², the water is passed through quickly, with thicker fleece of 50 g/m², it takes much longer until the water has penetrated. Basically, each fleece should be intensively watered after laying to improve permeability.

Background: UV-resistant.
UV resistance means the resistance of the material to ultraviolet light. A simple spun fleece made of polypropylene is generally not resistant to UV light. These UV inhibitors can stop the decomposition process but cannot completely stop it.
