Molded Pulp Packaging Details:
It manufactured use Thermoformed process(also known as 'Wet Press') integrates forming
and drying process in one mold, no oven curing is needed. This
process produces high quality thin-walled items(from 0.6~1.3mm),
with good dimensional accuracy, and smooth, rigid surfaces. The
result resembles the appearance of thermoformed plastic items. The
raw material is recyclable OCC(Old Corrugated Containers). It's
biodegradable, recyclable, eco-friendly. It can be made by
different techniques to achieve different surface effects and price
targets.

1) Are you a trader or a manufacturer?
We are a manufacturer, we have our own production plants located in
Southern China.
2) What type of product do you make?
We supply Molded Pulp Trays and Tooling/Mold.
There's three types of molded pulp trays we supply:
- Type 1: Thermoformed / Thin Walled
Manufactured use 'Thermoformed' process (also knowed as Wet Press) allows for incredibly smooth rigid quality molded pulp tray, the
wall thickness range from 0.6mm to 1.3mm. Main used for tableware,
premium electronics and cosmetic package.
Transfer molded means after formed then transfer under the sun or
oven to dry, which is widely used today, we called it Dry Pressing.
The product surface feature is one side smooth but no so smooth as
type 1, the other side is rough, the wall thickness range from
1.5mm to 3.0mm. Typically used for home appliance, electronics,
hardware, wine shipper, cooler, egg cartons, fruit container, cup
carrier/holder, medical care. The mold and product cost much less
than thermoformed type.
It manufactured with a secondary or specific treatment process,
such as additional coating, printing, hot stamping or additives.
3) Are your molded pulp products biodegradable?
Yes, our pulp tray can be 100% biodegraded in natural conditions
within 90 days, which is largely shorter than the degradation of
synthetic plastics
4) Will there be a mold fee for doing this trays?
Yes, there be a mold fee for all customized design.
