Biogas Purification Equipment Description:
Biogas Desulfurizer is designed to clean biogas by removing
sulphur, dust and water from biogas, stablize biogas pressure so
that stable and clean biogas can be used on biogas engine.
The main composition of desulphurizer is ferric oxide (Fe2O3)
After some time of use, Fe2O3 will lose its effectiveness ( you can
find that there is bad smell when using biogas). In this case, you
must replace the Fe2O3 in time.
Dry desulfurization is a simple, efficient and relatively low-cost
desulfurization method. It is generally suitable for
desulfurization of biogas with low biogas and low hydrogen sulfide
concentration. The basic principle of the dry process for removing
hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from biogas gas is a method of oxidizing H2S
to sulfur or sulfur oxide by O2, which is also called dry
oxidation.
Biogas Purification Equipment Working Principle:
First step: Fe2O3 · H2O + 3 H2S = Fe2S3 + 4 H2O (desulfuration)
Second step: Fe2S3 + 3/2 O2 + 3 H2O = Fe2O3 · H2O + 2 H2O + 3 S
(regeneration)
Biogas Purification Equipment Application:
It is mainly used for the removal of corrosive hydrogen sulfide
(H2S) gas in biogas, and can also be used for other purification of
hydrogen sulfide gas, so that the treated gas provides safety for
the normal use and service life of the required equipment.
