Silver-white Vermiculite has excellent properties such as thermal
insulation, freeze resistance, antibacterial, fire resistance,
liquid absorption, soundproof, and so on. When calcined at
800-1000°C for 0.5-1.0 minutes, the volume can rapidly increase by
8-15 times, and even up to 30 times. The specific gravity after the
expansion is 50-200kg/m3, the color becomes silvery-white, then
loose expanded vermiculite is formed.
