GS Type Pulling Tool Wireline Pulling Tool
I. Introduction: (B)
The GS type pulling tool is used to pull inner fishing necks, which
can cut off and release an object downward and is usually is used
to throw and fishing the lock cylinder, packer, bridge plug and
others with inner fishing necks. After connecting the GU joint
(upward shear joint), it can be converted to be an upward shear and
releasing tool.

III. Structural features: (C)
The GS type pulling tool is mainly composed of fishing neck, shear
pin seat, main spring, spring seat, secondary spring, fixed seat of
claw, skirt, fishing claw, mandrel, etc..
IV. Maintenance:
1. After disassembling the tool, inspect the damages of all parts
and change the damaged parts.
2. While assembling the tool, the thread surface shall be painted
with a thin layer of grease.
3. After assembly, the connection threads of fishing neck shall be
protected with thread protector and marked for standby application.
