443 Stainless Steel Sheet
443 stainless steel sheet is a kind of super ferritic stainless
steel with high mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It
is now generally used to replace 304, and its rust resistance and
processing performance are equivalent to 304. At present, it is
fully promoted in the fields of electrical appliances, utensils,
kitchen equipment, elevators, oven production and other fields. 443
stainless steel improves corrosion resistance by increasing Cr,
reducing C, and adding Ti. The pitting corrosion resistance is
improved. Ti element preferentially forms C compounds, which
inhibits the enrichment of C in the grain boundary of stainless
steel under heated conditions, improves the thermal service life of
stainless steel, and improves the intergranular corrosion
resistance of stainless steel and the heat stability.

AISI 434 stainless steel is a ferritic stainless steel formulated
for primary forming into wrought products. Cited properties are
appropriate for the annealed condition. 434 is the AISI designation
for this material. S43400 is the UNS number. Additionally, the
British Standard (BS) designation is 434S19.

Forging
Grade 434 stainless steel can be forged at 1094 -1149°C
(2000-2100°F) after thorough soaking.
Annealing
Grade 434 stainless steel is annealed by soaking at 788 - 872°C
(1450-1600°F) followed by cooling in air.
Hardening
Grade 434 stainless steel does not react to heat treatment.
Applications
Grade 434 stainless steel is used in automotive trim applications
and other exterior environments.
