Due to the strong stirring and projecting action of the flotation wheel, the pulp and air are fully mixed. Under the action of the oblique rod of the flotation wheel, the slurry-air mixture first advances forward, and then leans against the boss (gland) and the curved plate. The diversion effect of the flow stabilizer makes it continuously and evenly distributed in the tank, and finally, under the reflection effect of the bottom of the tank and the tank wall and the steady flow of the arc plate, it rises from the stirring area to the ore liquid surface through the sorting area. The flow trajectory of the slurry-air mixture, viewed from the longitudinal section of the tank, is "W" shaped. This flow characteristic makes the range of the stirring zone relatively enlarged, and the range of the sorting zone is relatively reduced, coupled with the shallow groove, the range is even narrower. The former increases the chance of contact between the ore particles and the air bubbles, which is beneficial to the mineralization of the foam. The mineralized foam rises to the foam area and is scraped out by the scraper to become a foam product. The working principle of the suction tank is the same as that of the vertical sand pump, that is, with the help of the rotating lifting wheel, the pressure head is generated, and the slurry is sucked from the guide pipe at the bottom of the tank and lifted to the required height.
