The function of the pump impeller is to transfer the energy input
from the prime mover to the liquid. The structural forms of blades
can be divided into cylindrical blades and twisted
blades.Generally, the impeller of closed water pump has 2-12
back-curved blades with high operating efficiency. One single stage
single suction centrifugal pump impeller because of the axial
force, so some impeller in the root of the blade has a balance
hole.The number of semi-open and open impeller blades is small,
generally 2~5 pieces, most of which are used for pumping grainy
liquid or sewage, such as the impeller of sewage pump. Water pump
impeller material to have enough mechanical strength, and a certain
wear resistance, corrosion resistance
