Materials of Mounted Plate
C45 steel is defined as medium carbon steel with moderate tensile
strength. The material can be hardened by quenching and tempering
in focused and restricted areas. c45 can also be hardened by
induction hardening to a hardness level of HRC 55. This is a high
strength medium carbon quality steel, because of poor
hardenability, generally used in the normalized state, mechanical
properties required for higher, the use of tempering treatment, for
the manufacture of parts with high strength requirements.
