Polypropylene Rope Introduction:

8 strand extra high strength polypropylene mooring lines, used for mooring larger vessels. These ropes have a high strength to weight ratio, float and do not absorb water. Additionally they have high resistance to abrasion and chemicals. All our mooring lines are supplied with 6ft covered eyes on both ends and come with either ABS or Lloyds certificates.

Square plaited high tenacity polypropylene multifilament mooring rope. It floats, is UV stabilised (dark colours have slightly better stability) and retains its flexibility. Comes in black. These lines retain their flexibility and do not stiffen in use. If you require a rope that is better UV resistant and/or sinks for anchoring purposes, we advice the 8 strand PES mooring.
