ASTM A213 TP316L is a heat exchanger tube specification made of 316L austenitic stainless steel. YUHONG GROUP is a large supplier and manufacturer of all kinds of stainless steel pipes. The A 213 standard covers ferritic and austenitic steel heat exchanger tubes. A213 316L is a low carbon version of the 316 material. Therefore, A213 TP 316lL has higher toughness but lower strength compared to 316 grade pipe. A 213 TP 316L pipes can be produced under resistance welding, electrofusion welding or cold drawing.

The tubing sizes and thicknesses usually furnished to this specification are 1⁄8 in. [3.2 mm] in inside diameter to 5 in. [127 mm] in outside diameter and 0.015 to 0.500 in. [0.4 to 12.7 mm], inclusive, in minimum wall thickness or, if specified in the order, average wall thickness. Tubing having other diameters may be furnished, provided such tubes comply with all other requirements of this specification.
