Ⅱ. Descriptions:
Reverse osmosis (RO) membrane technology is recognized as the most
effective and economical key component in the treatment of natural
brackish water and seawater, whether used in small-scale systems or
giant water treatment systems.
The membrane element is a spiral roll structure, which is referred
to as roll structure for short. The utility model is composed of a
multi leaf membrane bag. Each leaf membrane bag is composed of a
membrane opposite to the front of two membranes, a product water
flow channel placed between the two membranes and a turbulent grid
water inlet channel placed on the membrane surface. The three sides
of the membrane bag are sealed with adhesive, and the fourth side
is opened on a perforated water production collection pipe.
Compared with other element structures, such as tube type, plate
type and hollow fiber type, it has many advantages, such as uniform
water flow distribution, high pollution resistance, low replacement
cost, simple external pipeline, easy cleaning, maintenance and
large design freedom. It has become the main membrane element
structure at present.

IV Application:
There are different models of membrane components, and each model
is specific to different applications and service conditions.
*Model BW30: FRP wound standard low-pressure brackish water reverse osmosis membrane element is mainly used in multiple
series reverse osmosis systems with high desalination rate.
*Model ULP: Ultra low pressure series membrane elements can achieve the same high water
flux and high removal rate as conventional low pressure membranes
under ultra-low operating pressure. Its operating pressure is about
2 / 3 of that of conventional low-pressure membrane, and the
removal rate can reach 99.5%.
*Model LP: Low pressure series membrane elements are mainly used for desalination
of brackish water. They have the characteristics of low-pressure
operation, high water yield and good desalination performance. It
has high performance of removing soluble salts, TOC and SiO2, and
is suitable for the preparation of high-purity water in electronic
and power industries.
