Features
The pure nickel strip has excellent mechanical properties, high
corrosion resistance in different environments, and magnetic
feature,high heat transfer, high conductivity, low gas volume and
low vapor pressure. It also has good spot welding properties and
high tensile strength.
So when use the pure nickel strip to make battery pack,the spot
welding property is good, the internal resistance is lower, the
discharge time of the battery pack is durable,the battery spot
welding is stronger.
Application and Field
It mainly used in lithium batteries, battery ear, metal stamping
parts, electric vehicles, nickel batteries,tele-communications,
electric vacuum, special bulbs and other industries.

Except pure nickel strip, we also can supply the nickel plated
steel strip, this kind of strip can be used for battery with low
power and low current. The main advantage of this strip is the
price, it is lower a lot than pure nickel strip.
Our Nickel plated steel strip’s normal thickness is as follows:
Thickness: 0.08mm, 0.09mm, 0.10mm, 0.12mm, 0.15mm, 0.17mm, 0.20mm,
0.25mm and others.
Width: 3mm to 20mm
How to distinguish the pure nickel strip with nickel plated strip?
Many clients want to buy the pure nickel strip in low price, but
sometimes they can be cheated by supplier who use the nickel plated
steel strip to instead of pure nickel strip.
So how to check the quality for each strip become very important.
It is impossible for us to check the strip by eye or measurement.
The simplest way to distinguish is as follows:
Step 1: Cut the strip into pieces
Step 2: Put the piece into 20% hydrochloric acid and wait
Step 3: After few minutes, if the piece have visible reaction, the
material should be nickel plated steel strip.
