HPMC Ophthalmic Solution 2.0% has similar osmosis, ion concentration and pH as that of human
aqueous humor. It is used to maintain anterior chamber depth in the
ophthalmology operation and smear the operational instruments so as
to prevent the cornea endotheliocyte from mechanical damage.
HPMC Ophthalmic Solution 2.0% Intended Use:
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose for Ophthalmic for Ophthalmic
Surgery, which are suitable for cataract extraction, intraocular
lens implantation and removal surgery, eye trauma and other eye
surgery, are used to maintain anterior chamber depth in the
ophthalmology operation and smear the operational instruments to
prevent the cornea endotheliocyte from mechanical damage. They can
be used only once to effectively avoid latrogenic cross- infection
of the users or patients.
