Description
Single enveloping worm gear slew drive is a compactly constructed
unit which consists of envelop worm, gear, housing, base etc. This
unit brings the advantages of a slewing drive.
Geared slewing drive is suitable for applications which demand slow
rotation with a continuous or movement and capable of handling
combined loads. The product is with standard dimensions for
coupling an electric, hydraulic motor, servo motor etc. as well as
coupling a whole system to equipment. As to its compactness and
high rigidity, a worm drive system is used in various equipments
such as mobile assembly platforms, satellite system, hydraulic
loading cranes on haulage vehicles, small marine cranes, extendable
rotating ladders, in wheel units of large marine portal
transporters, it is now especially widely uesd in solar energy.
