Mud gun is operated as the equipment to supplement drilling mud or mixing mud. Mud guns number decided by tank size. Mud gun is usually mounted on the square tube of mud tank top frame. Or it can be mounted close to mud tank.

According to the inlet pipe size, there are 2-inch mud guns and 3-inch mud gun for option. According to different structure features, there are two types of mud gun: fixed mud gun, and rotary mud gun.

Mud guns are also referred to as jet mixers. They are best used in tank corners to keep solids from settling and a mud agitator is placed in the tank center. Mud guns number is the same as the agitator number. Usually, 3 meters per set mud gun. Mud guns can help to mix drilling fluids completely, which even at the corner of mud tank. What difference between different types of mud guns?

The bottom-type mud guns are connected with the bottom mud line and the nozzles are at higher positions, while the non-spin type is designed for mixing large volumes of fluids on top of a tank or pit also for transferring mud from compartment to another. It's more flexible to install mud gun in any position necessary.
