DESCRIPTION
The JaourMelt® 5502 is a synthetic rubber based hot melt adhesive
specifically developed to be applied at low temperature for
construction and absorbent coreassembly applications of nonwoven
disposables. The product is premium grade. It is opaque white in
color, high bond strength and tack, and long open time for good
machining and provides good penetration and wettability to various
substrates..

OPERATINGGUIDES
The material can be applied by all types of spray and slot
applicators.Suggested operation temperature is 120– 1400C for spray
and 110–130C for slot,depending on machines, substrates, and plant
conditions.
FDASTATUS
The product complies with the FDA Indirect Food Contact Regulation
of 21CFR175.105,“Adhesives”. PACKAGE 1kg block wrapped with
siliconized release paper,20kg/box, or with meltable film,20 or
25kg/box. Please consult the salesrepresentative for further
information.
STORAGE&SHELFLIFE
The intact packing material can be stored indoor for 24 months,
from the date of manufacture, in its original packages under dry
and clean conditions at ambient temperature below 35C and above
10C. Direct sunlight and moisture condensation must be prevented.
OPERATINGPRECAUTIONS
Do not mix with other adhesives to prevent contamination. The
material is applied hot. Appropriate personal protective clothing
and eye protection are strongly recommended to prevent burns.
Adequate ventilation is suggested to remove any vapors or fumes
generated. Rotate stocks and using the oldest stockfirst.
