The optical ports support the auto-negotiation function in
compliance with IEEE 802.3z. The optical ports use SFP optical

distance is 10 km. The optical modules that can meet different
requirements for the transmission distance such as 40 km and 80 km

The electrical ports support the auto-negotiation function. The
negotiated rate can be 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, or 1000 Mbit/s.

VCTRUNK binding. One VCTRUNK can be bound with up to 24 VC-3s.
- In the case of N2EGS2 boards, a VCTRUNK can be bound with a maximum
of 12 VC-3s or 63 VC-12s.
- In the case of N3EGS2 boards, a VCTRUNK can be bound with a maximum
of eight VC-4s, 24 VC-3s, or 63 VC-12s.
- For N2EGS2 board, VC-4s numbered 4, 8, 12, and 16 support the
binding of VC-3 and VC-12 paths. The other VC-4s support the
binding of VC-3 paths only.
- For N3EGS2 board, VC-4s numbered 4, 8, 12, and 16 support the
binding of VC-4, VC-3 and VC-12 paths. The other VC-4s support the
binding of VC-4 and VC-3 paths only.
