- DUAL-SLOT FUSE HOLDER - It provides one fuse holder to protect
original circuit and provides a lead with the second fuse holder
for new circuit.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS - Fuses are color coded and printed with the
rated current on top for easy identification and installation.
Transparent housings allow for visual inspection (in case of a
blown fuse) and are molded with non-conductive, heat-resistant
nylon. Blades are made of anti-corrosive plated zinc alloy. The
result is a high temperature tolerant fuse that provides optimum
overcurrent protection of electrical circuits in automotive
vehicles and electrical equipment.

Applicable Fuse: Micro 2 blade fuses and stand up to 15 AMP each

The fuse tap turns one slot into two slots, provides one fuse
holder to protect existing circuit, and a second fuse holder to
protect new circuit.
Easy Installation:
1. Simply remove an existing fuse from the fuse box, insert that
fuse in to the bottom slot of the fuse tap.
2. Insert a suitable fuse for the new accessory in to the top slot.
3. Crimp your new live wire to the transparent butt terminal on the
fuse tap.

A fuse tap for a blade fuse is disclosed which includes a tap
flange to which a blade of the blade fuse is received. The blade is
retained within the opening by a plurality of teeth which exert a
clamping force on opposite sides of the blade. A locking element is
formed on the tap to lock the tap onto the blade fuse. A crimp
connector is formed on one end of the tap which is adapted to be
secured to a wire by crimping. The fuse tap is formed as a unitary
one-piece body formed by bending a single blank of metal to provide
the crimp connector on one end and the tap flange formed at the
other end which includes an opening for receiving the blade of the
blade fuse.
