What are Static Ropes?
Static ropes, also known as low elongation ropes, are generally
used for rescue work, caving, working at heights, and similar
fields. In these types of situations, it is important for the rope
in question to have minimal elongation and maximum strength. These
are designed not to stretch. The interior (known as the kern) is
protected by a woven sheath (the mantle).

Kernamantle Ropes
Kernamantle ropes or generally called as Braided Ropes comprise of
a core that takes the bulk of the load, accounting for up to 95 per
cent of the rope’s strength, and a protective outer cover that
provides abrasion resistance and protection.
