Functions and Features

The U402 board supports the mixed transmission of OTN, SDH and packet services. It supports Layer 2 switching, MPLS-TP, and OTN interfaces.

The U402 board can work in either line mode or relay mode. The board supports ODUk, packet services and VC-4 services only when it works in line mode.

OTN functions	Supports OTU4 interface the WDM side. Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined in ITU-T G.709. OTU4 layer: supports SM overhead processing. ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, 2e, 3, 4, flex) layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
