IEC 19-Inch Shelf

Structure

When the 19-inch shelf is installed in a B6030-22C-IB cabinet, its mounting ears are close to the back edge, see Figure 1-3.

When the 19-inch shelf is installed in a B6060-22F cabinet, its mounting ears are close to the front edge, see Figure 1-4.

Configuration

The shelf is divided into two areas: service card area (lower) and fan area (upper, optional).

Service card area

The 9U-height area is used for switching and control cards and service cards installation.

Width of the slots 0/1/10/11/19/20 is 25 mm, while width of other slots is 22.5 mm. Figure 1-5 shows the 19-inch shelf configuration.

Fan area

The fan area is a plug-in card with 1U height and 19-inch width.

It provides the system with cool wind in ventilating way. Fan speed can be adjusted according to the system temperature.
