Description:

This device is used to check whether the ceramic material is tightly sintered.

Confirm to Clause 22.32 of IEC 60335-1 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 1: General requirements. Supplementary insulation and reinforced insulation shall be constructed or protected so that the deposition of pollution resulting from wear of parts within the appliance does not reduce clearances or creepage distances below the values specified in Clause 29.

Feature:

The device consists of two parts: Fuchsine and Methylated Spirit test chamber, pressure boosting device.

The ceramic material is broken into pieces that are immersed in a solution containing 1 g of fuchsine in each 100 g of methylated spirit. The solution is maintained at a pressure not less than 15 MPa for a period so that the product of the test duration in hours and the test pressure in megapascals is approximately 180.
