1.Geothermal source heat pump use the constant temperature of the
earth as exchange medium instead of the outside air
temperature.This allows the system to reach fairly high efficiency
(300%-600%) on the coldest winter night,compared to 175%-250% for
air source heat pump on cool days.

2.Relative to air source heat pump,they are quieter,last
longer,need little maintenance,and don't depend on the temperature
of the outside air.

3.The system may be used for air conditioner in summer,as well as a
heating system in winter.A high efficiency heat pump can provide
four times the heat compared with an electric heater.
