Injection molded Ferrite is another molding process of magnet category. Compared to injection molded NdFeB, the difference of injection molded Ferrite lies in different magnetic powder utilized, therefore injection molded ferrite has lower magnetic properties due to ferrite features, but it costs much less than that of NdFeB.

Sometimes, to achieve the magnetic properties between injection molded NdFeB and Ferrite, combinations of ferrite and NdFeB powders provide many different magnetic properties for different applications.

* Maximum application temperature is related with magnetic powder and polymer binder. Even though the temperature of ferrite material happens magnetic loss up to 170°C, the HDT (heat deformation temperature) of the binders is low, when application temperature exceeds the HDT, the binder in injection molded magnet will become soft at some extent, which jeopardizes the product.
