Product Description:
Valve stem seals are used to control the amount of oil allowed
between the valve guide and the valve´s stem. Valve stem and guide
scratch and wear off excessively if they do not get enough
lubrication.
Valve stem seals are resistant to heat and oil, and are
manufactured in different materials such as viton, nitrile with or
without a stainless steel bush, depending on the application.
The most important types of dynamic seals are oil seals for use on
rotating shafts, and valve stem seals for reducing the flow of oil
through the cylinder-head into the combustion chamber.
