Boiler Header
Boiler headers, or boiler manifolds are designed to simplify piping
near the boiler, reduce installation time, labor costs and parts
used. Available in various branch options with threaded inlet and
outlet connections. For closed loop heating applications only.
The pressures and temperatures that headers have to withstand
depend on the component to which they are connected. A header
connected to an economizer or to water wall panels is subject to
less severe requirements on the material than a header connected to
superheaters or reheaters.
A steam drum is a standard feature of a water-tube boiler. It is a
reservoir of water/steam at the top end of the water tubes. The
drum stores the steam generated in the water tubes and acts as a
phase-separator for the steam/water mixture. The difference in
densities between hot and cold water helps in the accumulation of
the "hotter"-water/and saturated-steam into the steam-drum.
Introduction
Steam header is a necessary device for steam boiler. It is mainly
used for power generation, iron and steel industry, oil and
chemical industry, cement industry, and construction industry, etc
The boiler headers have water wall header, superheater header,
economizer header and so on. It acts as collection, mixture,
re-distributing working medium. As the structure, it can be
classified as the end cover type ( end enclosure) and necking down
type.

Specification
The header is consisted of header body ( large diameter seamless
steel tube), end cover (enclosure), tube joint, hand hole,
thermometer socket and so on. And the welding checking is strictly
proceeded in the welding process to guarantee 100% qualified
products.
