Honeycomb cut-off Ventilation

Honeycomb cut-off Ventilation is the main channel of air exchanging for anechoic chamber. It can effectively cut-off the access of electromagnetic waves. Honeycomb cut-off Ventilation is composed of many small waveguide beam, with hexagonal cross-sectional shape. The cross-section of Honeycomb cut-off Ventilation used to have following shapes: round, square and hexagonal. Since square and hexagonal waveguide allow less spread of wave types than that of round waveguide, the

isolation of the electromagnetic wave is more favorable. In same insert attenuation conditions, a hexagonal waveguide channel area is greater than that of a square waveguide. Therefore, Honeycomb cut-off Ventilation used to adopt hexagonal ventilation waveguide windows, with common size: 10mm, 5mm, and 3.2mm.

Selection principles: insertion loss should be matched with shielding effectiveness of anechoic chamber; it should meet ventilation requirements of anechoic chamber.
