Specifications:
- Type: Integral straight or spiral blade stabilizer
- Material: AISI 4145H MOD or Non-magnetic steel
- OD: 6'~28'(inch)
- Length: max 9m
- Standard: API SPEC 7-1( or as your requested technical requirement)
- Process: steel must be melted fine grain, aluminum killed. Must be pressed from 35 inch minimum ingot size and must be press forged and not hammer forged.
- Metal Finish: forgings should have a surface finish of at least 125 RMS.
- Delivery condition: Hot forged, Heat treatment(Q+T), Rough machining

Mechanical properties:
-Tensile strength: min 965Mpa
-Yield strength: min 758Mpa
- Impact value: min 54J
- Elongation: min 13%
- Brinell hardness: 285-341HB

Test sections must not be heat treated separately from the product.

Tensile and yield specimens longitudinal; centered 2’’ or mid-radius, minimum, below surface; determined on the basis of one test per ten bodies per heat per heat treat lot.

Impact specimens longitudinal and radially notched; centered 2’’ or mid-radius, minimum, below surface; determined on the basis of one test per ten bodies per heat per heat treat lot.

BHN hardness 2’’ or mid-radius, minimum, below surface; determined on the basis of one test per ten bodies per heat per heat treat lot.

NDE:

All standard steel forgings shall be examined for both surface breaking and totally enclosed internal defects. NDE shall take place after the completion of all heat treatment.
