* 13/29 - wheel profile which prepares band saws for soft wood cutting

* 4/32 - wheel profile which can prepare band saws for very frozen and very hard wood cutting

* 7/34 the CBN wheels profile is recommended for hardwood

In the past, large band saws for stationary mills were shrpened with conventional or ziconia abrasives in vitrified or resinoid bonds. These wheels required almost continuous dressing by the saw filer to retain the profile and prevent the wheels from burning the blade. Because our CBN wheels are electroplated onto a steel core, they offer significant advantages over the conventional abrasive wheels.
