1.Vibrating

There is a small inclination between the grate surface and the horizontal plane, and the grate piece generates periodic vibration by the action of the motor and the eccentric wheel. When vibrating, the fuel layer continuously moves toward the rear of the furnace, so that the burnt ash falls into the ash pit at the end of the grate. This grate is characterized by a simple structure.

2. Feeding bottom

A trough-shaped grate with a screw rod at the bottom of the trough, leading to the coal hopper outside the furnace. The coal is sent from the lower part of the coal hopper to the coal tank through the auger, and enters the high temperature zone from bottom to top. When the ash exceeds the accumulation angle, it is discharged to both sides by gravity. The grate structure is simple, but has certain requirements on the particle size and humidity of the coal, and is generally only applicable to small industrial boilers having an evaporation amount of less than 1 ton/hr.

3. Reciprocating grate

It consists of a set of fixed grate pieces and a set of reciprocating movable grate pieces, which are divided into two types: stepped and horizontal. The reciprocating motion of the movable grate plate gradually pushes the coal seam to the rear combustion, so the grate is more adaptable to the coal species.
