For the 33kv medium voltage cable, the normal construction is following:
Conductor: copper or aluminium according to the IEC 60228;
Conductor screen: semi-conductor material;
Insulation: XLPE
Insulation screen: semi-conductor material
Metal screen: copper tape/wire
core: 1 core or 3 core. if 3 cores, fillers and wrapping are needed to form the cores into a round cables.
Section area: 16mm2 -- 800mm2
Inner screen: PVC or PE;
Armoured: steel/aluminium wire/tape
sheath: PVC/PE
