The structure of this type of thermal insulation material is aluminum foil/XPE foam/aluminum foil. The aluminum foil plays the role of reflecting radiation heat from sunshine or materials around, with a reflectivity of 96-97%.
This unique structure provides an extremely excellent thermal isolation shell. When applied in house thermal insulation, the inhabitant can feel cool indoors in the scorching summer as the foil layer has reflected the radiation heat that constitutes 70% of the total heat energy in summer.
And when the inhabitant uses air-conditioner, the air-trapping XPE foam serves as a heat convection shield, satisfactorily reducing cool air loss, so that power cost is cut down.
In winter, both the foam and the foil work together to reserve as much heat as possible so that inhabitant won't feel too cold.
