Introudction of Full H2S Service Sleeve Type Drain Valve

The 5" sleeve type drain valve made of Inconel alloy steel is applied for drill stem testing oepration in Full H2S service. The drain valve in sleeve type is composed with a ported body, sliding sleeve, and rotating nut. Once the testing operation is finished, the drain valve is used to recover large volume fluid samples.

How to operate the sleeve type drain valve

The sleeve type drain valve is installed between any two valves, When the ports in the sleeve are aligned with the ports in the body of the tool, the fluid may be drained. After the testing operation, the sleeve type drain valve reaches the surface, a sample can be removed or any trapped pressure can be safely vented at the surface. The Drain Collar is installed around the Drain Sleeve.The Drain Nipple is screwed into a threaded hole in the Drain Sleeve Body.
