Introduction of IPO Circulating valve

The IPO circulating valve is a kind of circulating valve by nternal Pressure operationg. The Internal pressure operated circulating valve allows circulation through the work string before trip-out and serves as a drain during trip-out. It can be run in cased holes or open holes and maintains a full bore through the tool.

When new tools are bought from the warehouse stock, the following will occur:

• Assign a unique serial number to each new tool.
• A quality file for the particular tool will be started. Where required, customs will be informed of this part number.
• Disassemble and inspect the tool. Record all trace number in the quality file.
• Follow the standard maintenance procedures for that particular tool type as specified in the Cased hole maintenance manual or tool specific manual. In the event that this is a new tool with no standard procedure, contact Technology and have the shop supervisor or other authorized personnel direct the maintenance procedures
