ASTM A801 UNS K92650 iron-Cobalt High Magnetic Saturation Alloy Round Bar

K92650 is a new type of soft magnetic alloy in China even it is already widely introduced by the inventor Carpenter. A-one Alloy is one of the Chinese manufacturers who are able to produce K92650 in forms of strip, wire and round bar.

K92650 is a better choice when the fabrication is considered when R30005 is somehow has better permeability and coercive force—even the difference is not big. The magnetic saturation of both alloys is nearly identical. And, Hiperco 27 does not exhibit the brittleness of R30005.

K92650 is are capable of being produced in forms and conditions described suitable for further manufacture into specific magnetic components. The desired form and condition should be discussed with the producer to ensure receiving the correct product.

• Forging Billet—Hot-worked and surface prepared by grinding.
• Hot-Rolled Bar, Plate, and Strip—Hot-rolled, hotrolled and acid cleaned, and hot-rolled and mechanically
